As our first dedicated Marketing Generalist, you'll build AQUABATTERY's marketing engine from the ground up. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), your mission is to turn marketing into a genuine lead-generation tool that actively supports our sales efforts. You'll own our brand, content, website, events and digital presence, and you'll do it the start-up way: creatively, resourcefully and with heavy use of AI to punch well above our weight. 

What you’ll be doing

• Own and build our brand across all channels including website, content, events, digital and media
• Build a marketing engine that generates high-quality leads and supports the sales pipeline
• Create compelling, on-brand content across channels — web, social, email and other channels
• Work with and manage external agencies to deliver our marketing strategy
• Define and execute content and channel strategy, including priorities, campaigns and publishing cadence
• Measure and optimise marketing performance based on lead generation, conversion and business impact
• Leverage AI tools to maximise marketing output and efficiency with a lean team
• Plan and deliver events, conferences and industry engagement activities
• Support employer branding and recruitment through marketing campaigns and content
• Set the overall marketing strategy and manage the marketing budget
• Own external communications to build and protect our brand, through multiple tools like press releases and media appearances
